Keshon Nowlin, a Bowie State University computer science major, died from his injuries in a hit-and-run car accident on August 10, 2019. He was an active member of the BSU community and elected Mr. Black and Gold as part of the 2019-20 Royal Court.
In honor of his memory and legacy, the family of Keshon Nowlin is establishing the Keshon Nowlin Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund at Bowie State University. It will take $25,000 to create this endowed fund that will provide scholarships to seniors from the state of Maryland majoring in a computer and technology related field with a 3.0 or higher GPA.
